URSULINE College is a dynamic and progressive school that strives for excellence in all school activities. The school focuses on creating the best learning and teaching environment for all its students. Staff work hard to build a sense of community that supports, encourages and challenges students during their journey through the school and beyond. Ursuline College is sensitive to the needs of all students and provides additional support where necessary through an enthusiastic S.E.N. team and resource teachers.

We are dedicated to the all-round development of each student in our care, in the tradition of St. Angela, the foundress of the Ursuline Congregation. Students in Ursuline College are educated in partnership with parents in a Catholic and caring community in a context where each student is respected as unique.

We recognise the importance of extra-curricular activities for the development of our students. Sport (including basketball, Gaelic football, hockey, soccer, athletics, swimming and golf ), Music, Choirs and Voluntary activities are central to the life of the school.

Innovation and creativity are promoted through participation in events such as Young Scientist, Scifest, Green Schools, Youth Enterprise, Student Council, Sports Council, Poetry Aloud, Public Speaking, Young Social Innovators, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Feis Cheoil, Feis Sligeach, Fresh Film Festival and the Texaco Art competition among others. Ursuline students participate in a wide range of activities that enable them to work towards creating a better society.

Ursuline College is delighted to announce that the Design Team for the new Building and Upgrading of facilities has begun its work. Ursuline College looks forward very much to this exciting new phase in the school’s development into the future.
