St. Edward’s is mixed school located on Clarion Rd catering for pupils in mainstream classes and an ASD class. There are a wide range of up to date facilities such as kitchen, computer suite, library, outdoor pitch, basketball courts and outdoor classroom, in addition to access to extra swimming and sports facilities nearby. The school offers Homework Clubs and a Summer Camp as well as the on-site Ballytivnan After School Club. School lunches are provided and the children benefit from swimming and water safety lessons. CPR/AED training is provided for 4 th to 6 th classes.

Extensive maths, reading and science resources support individualised children’s learning. Excellence has been recognised in a wide number of areas, including: Health Promoting School and Green School status, Discover Primary Maths and Science Awards, Creative Schools Award, Digital School, Sligo Tidy School and Junior Entrepreneur.
