We are ready to go for 2019. Forms have gone out to all the children, please return them as soon as possible and thank you if you have already done so.

Quiz practice returns on Wednesday, January 30, at 8 p.m. in the Pastoral Centre. Draughts practice returns on Tuesday, February 5, in the Pastoral Centre.

Area Gymnastics takes place in Regional Sports Centre, Cleveragh on Monday, February 4, at 6 p.m. Routines can be downloaded from communitygames. ie/gymnastics.html.

Area Modelling takes place on Monday, February 11, in Scoil Muire gan Smal at 6.30 p.m. Area Art takes place on Wednesday, February 13, in Scoil Muire gan Smal at 6.30 p.m. Please supply your own materials for these events. Area Swimming takes place on Saturday, March 16, at 3 p.m.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the Ballymote lotto jackpot on January 19 Numbers drawn were 3, 11, 23 and 28. There was no match-three winner, 50, 30 and €20 winners displayed locally. The jackpot now stands at €7,000. The next draw will take place in John Doddy’s on Saturday, February 2, We would like to thank our sponsors Ballymote and District Credit Union and Currid Construction for their continued support.

COLEMAN MUSIC CENTRE

The Coleman Music Centre, Gurteen will host its annual fundraising concert on Saturday, February 2, at 8.30 p.m. acts will include our own Ceoltóirí Coleman, The Needham Family, Laura Ganley, Maureen O’Dowd and choir together with many more. Can you make a Difference to North West Simon Community? Calling all groups, offices, clubs or individual – would you like to host a Tea Day in aid of North West Simon Community on Thursday, February 21, or any time that suits?
