THE2 JOHNNIES Ireland’s favourite comedy duo The 2 Johnnies bring you their new show “Get Loose” at the Radisson Blu this Friday, February 1st. The 2 Johnnies are a hugely popular and hilarious Music & Comedy Duo, Johnny B (O Brien) & Johnny Smacks (McMahon) from Tipperary. Known for their comedy sketches and songs that capture the uniquely funny side of all things Irish, the 2 Johnnies have become part of the fabric of the Irish Entertainm­ent scene.

FLY ME TO THE MOON

Hawk’s Well visitors will be over the moon as Marie Jones’ latest production lands at the theatre tomorrow (Wednesday). Written and directed by Olivier Award-winning author Jones, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ is a comedy starring Abigail McGibbon and Katie Tumelty.

THE THOM MOORE SONGBOOK

An American born singer-song writer with an inextricab­le link to Sligo is to be celebrated with a concert at Hawk’s Well Theatre this Friday. With Sligo woven into in his work, his songs and his heart, the Thom More Songbook will see some of the county’s top musicians gather to pay tribute to the inspiratio­nal musician for what is sure to be a special night.

Monthly céilí nights return to Teach Murray, Gurteen, this Thursday night. The craic starts at 8.30pm and continues until around 11.30pm. Join the Swallows Tail Céilí band this Thursday for an unmissable night of ceol and craic.

The star of ‘Irelands Got Talent’, Jason Byrne is one the most exciting live comedy performers in the world. What he achieves on a stage cannot be adequately described by audience members, critics or fellow comics. He comes to the Hawk’s Well Theatre this Saturday evening.

Rachel Baiman is an American singer-songwriter and fiddler based in Nashville, Tennessee. Her 2017 label debut Shame was featured on NPR’s Songs We Love, called a Rootsy Wake-up Call by Folk Alley. She comes to the Glens Centre, Manorhamil­ton, this Sunday.

PERIPHERAL VISIONS Hazel McCrann’s solo exhibition ‘Peripheral Visions’ continues at the Hyde Bridge Gallery until February 12th. She views her paintings as a dramatic embodiment of thoughts and emotions acted out through the process of painting.

Enjoy the sounds of Jake Lukeman and Patrick McCabe at The Dock, Carrick on Shannon this Saturday. Lukeman and Mc Cabe are friends and long-time collaborat­ors, having toured the UK, the USA and Ireland in the nineties. Now they are back with a wailing harmonica.
