MEP of the Year nomination

MARIAN Harkin is one of three nominees for the MEP of the Year covering Economic & Monetary Affairs, Taxation and Budget. “I am especially pleased because I have been nominated by the World Council of Credit Unions for my work over many years in protecting the interests of credit unions and helping to ensure that European economic legislation properly and fairly considers the particular needs of credit unions. As a founding member, and co-chair of the Credit Union Interest Group, I have always fully supported the ethos of the credit unions.”
