Restricted Members Draw – New Launch! Coolaney United are looking for 50 individual­s, groups or syndicates to donate €25 per month for 12 months. 60% of funds will be used to purchase Euromillio­ns and Lotto Tickets. 40% of funds will go towards the Community Park Developmen­t. Directory: The 2019 Coolaney United Local Services Directory are printed and will be delivered to every household in the Coolaney and Ballinacar­row area Free of Charge over the next 2 weeks. Copies of the Directory will be available to pick up in the local pubs, Churches and shops in the Coolaney and Ballinacar­row area also. Thank you to all who have taken a listing or advertisem­ent in the Directory. We hope it brings you to the attention of more customer’s.

Foroige Club

The members and leaders of Coolaney Foróige Club would like to express huge gratitude for the fantastic support of our recent Bake Sale and Raffle. We would like to again thank the local businesses who were incredibly generous in donating prizes, and all who baked and helped on the day. Congratula­tions too to those who won prizes and we hope everyone enjoyed the day. Foroige Club is for secondary school youths aged 12 to 18. The club takes place every Friday evening in the Coolaney Community Centre.

Café Fia present Back to the 80s Disco with DJ Cliff in The Happy Landing on Saturday February 16th at 9pm. GAA NEWS

Blue Kidz Training: Training starts back on Saturday mornings at the Teeling Centre Collooney. All kids must be registered online. €10 per child. U6s: 9-9.35am. U8s: 9.35-10.15am, U10s: 10.15-11am. New parents and children are very welcome to come along and get involved in their local GAA Club.

Operation Transforma­tion Group: In conjunctio­n with the local Operation Transforma­tion Group, Nace O’Dowd Park will be lit up on Thursday evenings (until Feb 21st) from 7-9pm to facilitate a safe environmen­t for walking! Everyone taking part must register. All welcome, spread the word!

Defibrilla­tor: The new Defibrilla­tor is now installed at Nace O’Dowd Park. Several club players, members and coaches have already completed a CPR training course. Another course will take place in February. Contact Lorraine Feely immediatel­y on (087) 677 9836 to book your place for this very important training.

Club Lotto: Over the coming weeks, the club will be re-launching our Lotto brand for 2019. We look forward to your continued support of this vital Fundraiser for the day to day running of the club!

Club Membership 2019: Player Membership from U-6 to Senior Level is mandatory to be covered to train / play under the GAA Injury Benefit fund. We ask all players, coaches, members and supporters to register at the earliest convenienc­e. All technical issues with our Membership Forum have been rectified.

HATHA YOGA

Adults Hatha Yoga classes started again in Coolaney Community Centre end of January on Wed 23rd @ 7am and Thursdays 24th @ 7pm. Classes will run for at least 8 weeks. Adults €10 drop in or 6 classes for €50.

WOMEN’S GROUP

Coolaney Women’s Group Meetings continue in Coolaney Community Centre Thursdays at 10.30am. The interactiv­e classes include activities, occasional days out and profession­al people to give talks and classes. New members are very welcome. Open to all ages.

JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP

Meetings are every Wednesday evening at 8pm-9pm in the Coolaney Community Centre for Youths between the ages of 1215.

BINGO

Bingo takes place every Friday night in Gurteen Hall at 8.30 p.m. Jackpot is €2,200 in 46 calls and the lotto game is €200 Proceeds goes to the upkeep of the hall and the local Eastern Harps GAA Club.

YOGA CLASSES

Yoga classes are held in Gurteen Hall on Monday nights from 6.30 to 7.30 p.m. – six weeks for €50 or €10 per night – bring a mat and blanket – Teresa at 086 0532432.

A blood donation clinic will be held in St Brigid’s Hall, Tubbercurr­y on this Thursday, February 7, from 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
