RECENT DEATH

The death took place at St John’s Hospital, Sligo on Saturday, January 26, of John Francis Murray late of Cloonanure, Gurteen. A lorry driver with Sligo County Council for a number of years he was a well known member of the community and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His remains reposed at St John’s Hospital Chapel on Sunday evening and were removed to St Patrick’s Church, Gurteen. Mass of the Ressurection was celebrated on Monday and burial took place afterwards in Knockbrack Cemetery Keash. Sincere sympathy is extended to his nephews, nieces, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May he rest in peace.
