BENSON Cup Fixtures

THE Benson Cup fixture list for 2019 has been announced by the Sligo GAA. Our senior team have been drawn to play St Patricks, Dromard in a Preliminar­y Round Fixture which will be played on either Sat March 2nd or Sun March 3rd in Stenson Park, Cuilbeg. The winners of that game will go on to play St Farnans in the quarter final on the weekend of March 23rd. FOOTBALL for Mothers and Others

BORD Na nOG Training

THE St Johns Bord nOg indoor training continues each Saturday in The Sligo Tennis Club, Old Bundoran Rd. for the U12 Boys (Born 2007 to 2008) from 3-4pm and the Boys U14 (Born 2005 to 2006) from 4-5pm. On Sundays training is held at The Sligo Sports Complex, Cleveragh for the Boys U8 (Born 2011 to 2012) from 2-3pm and Boys U10 (Born 2009 to2010) from 3-4pm. This is followed by the Girls U8 –U10 (Born 2009 to 2012) from 4-5pm and then the Girls U12 and U14 (Born 2005 to 2008) from 5-6pm. These sessions are free for paid up club members. CHARITY BINGO NIGHT LISA Kelly our U-16 club player will travel to Kenya in May to visit St Columba’s Technical College, a secondary school which is run by the Ursuline order and provides protection and education to young girls who have many personal and social challenges in their lives LISA long with some other Ursuline Girls hope to raise much needed funds to present to the school during their visit

ST Michael’s GAA is deeply saddened by the passing of stalwart supporter Johnny Kilcolm. He will be missed by all. Johnny was part of the club since the beginning and acted as Phyiso at many games including the Junior winning Championsh­ip team of 1992. The club wish to express sympathy to the Kilcolm family in this sad time.

THE Club Dinner Dance will take place this Saturday February 23rd in the Sligo Park Hotel. Teams to be honoured on the night will be our 2018 Minor Boys and girls, our Developmen­t Men’s squad and the 1994 Intermedia­te championsh­ip winning Team. Player of the Year and Club Person of the Year Awards will also be presented. Our guest of Honour on the night will be Mullinaght­a and Cavan Manager Mickey Graham. SCÓR Chontae Shligigh presents Scór Sinsir in Kilmacowen Hall also this Saturday February 23rd at 7.30pm. Scór is a GAA competitio­n that combines the colour and rivalry of Gaelic Games with the social/ fun element of Ireland’s traditiona­l past times. 2019 s this year is the 50th Anniversar­y of Scór. Saturday night commences with the Table Quiz at 7.30pm followed by seven other competitio­ns.

OUR Club Lotto Draw takes place this Tuesday night February 19th at 8.30pm in the Clubhouse. The Jackpot now stands at €3,600. Thanks to everyone for their continued support for this important Club Fundraiser.

WE will have indoor hurling training as normal next Sunday 24th February from 10-30 to 11-30 in the sports complex.The following Sunday the 3rd of March we will be finishing our indoor season with a Mini Indoor All Ireland finals day.It will run from 10am to 11-30am with games for U8’S,U11’s and U13’s.

U 14’s Team News. St Pat’s U14’s return to training this Tuesday February 19th indoors in the Community Centre. Training runs from 7pm till 8pm.
