PARENT/TODDLER GROUP

Our Little Buddies Parent and toddler group meets on Monday and Friday mornings from 10.30 a.m. to midday. Parents, grandparen­ts and carers are all welcome. There is always a warm welcome with tea, coffee and refreshmen­ts provided. €3 per family.

BRIGHT MINDS

Our Bright Minds Pre-school operates from 9.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. and the Bright Minds School Age Care from 1.30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, September-June. Bright Minds are providers of the ECCE and Community Childcare Subvention Schemes, offering free Preschool spaces and subsidised school age care spaces for eligible families. A limited number of spaces are still available in our pre-school. We are now taking enrolments for September, 2019. For more informatio­n on pre-school please contact Magdalena and for school age care please contact Janice at the Avalon Centre at 071 9161836.

Our School Age Care is closed for mid-term break on this Thursday and Friday. Our Bright Minds pre-school is open as normal.

BOWLING

The Avalon Centre Bowling Club meets every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the centre. All are welcome-just call in on the day.

BINGO

Bingo takes place every Friday night from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Double books cost €15, single books €10, half books €5 and single sheets €1. There is also a raffle on the night.

Over 50 young women from the border counties of Cavan, Donegal, Fermanagh, Leitrim, Louth, Monaghan and Sligo attended the event.
