HOLY WEEK SERVICES

Holy Week Services at church of Mary, Mother of God, Newtownmanor: Holy Thursday Mass at 7 p.m.; Good Friday Liturgy at 7 p.m.; Easter Sunday Mass at 10 a.m.

GOOD FRIDAY SPRING CLEAN

This is taking place this Good Friday morning (April 19) at 10 a.m.; meeting outside the Newtownmanor Hall.

All that is needed is for you to arrive filled with enthusiasm and energy; all materials will be provided. The more of us who participate, the easier the task will be. Bring a friend or two and make a social occasion of it. If you have high visibility clothing, do wear it. See you on Good Friday morning.

PILATES

Pilates classes in Newtownmanor Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays will continue till Tuesday and Thursday, April 23, and 25, inclusive.

Classes are at 7.30 p.m. each evening. Contact Niamh on Mob. 087 2294500 to clarify which night you are due to attend, if in any doubt.

After Thursday, April 23, classes will cease for summer recess; resuming in September 2019, all being well with the world.

25 CARD GAME

The Progressive 25 Card Game takes place each Friday in Newtownmanor Hall at 9 p.m.; Good Friday, April 19, included. Proceeds from Good Friday evening go to the North West Hospice.

The final Friday of cards this ‘season’ will be Friday, May 17. All card players are welcome and we are always keen for new members to come along.

HALL BOOKINGS

Newtownmanor Hall is available for booking, by adult groups, wishing to organise an event or training. Hall costs are €15 per hour.
