HERITAGE GROUP FREE EVENT
An informal Conversation in the Depot on Sunday afternoon, December 1, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The topic: Shops and other Businesses in Dromahair 50 or more years ago. How did the main street look before modernisation? What families had businesses in the village then? Where did they go to? What architectural changes and building extensions happened?
Some local people who witnessed the changes in the commercial life of Dromahair will talk informally about their experiences and observations. Light refreshments will be served. Come and enjoy a pleasant trip down memory lane.
