SPECIAL CHRISTMAS DAY
Christmas Day is an enjoyable and happy time for most of us but some people are isolated, lonely or depressed.
Every year the North Leitrim Men’s Group in co-operation with the Kilgar Group provide a Christmas Day Dinner to bring a bit of cheer into their lives. Local businesses have consistently supported the event which helps break Christmas Day isolation and depression.
The North Leitrim Men’s Group would like to thank all the businesses who have supported them in the past. The group once again looks for support to transform Christmas for isolated people.
The North Leitrim Men’s Group would like to invite people who are isolated to contact them if they would like to attend on Christmas Day. If you know someone who is isolated or lonely you might mention the Christmas Dinner to them.
It’s important to remember that the dinner is open to both men and women. If you would like to express your interest in attending or supporting the event, please phone the North Leitrim Men’s Group Office, 071 9855347.
