Dromahair Developmen­t Associatio­n/Tidy Towns would like to thank everyone who has helped out in any way over the past year. To those who join us on the clean-ups, help with flower planting, weeding and contribute­s in any way to keeping our village looking good.

Thank you to all the businesses who help us with the blotto draw by selling tickets and allowing us to run the draws without which we wouldn’t be able to continue. Thank you to everyone who buys a blotto ticket, we really appreciate it as it helps us to buy flowers and shrubs for our Tidy Towns work. Thank you to Transition Year Student’s from St Clare’s Comprehens­ive, Manorhamil­ton for their positive contributi­on to our Tidy Towns Projects.

CHRISTMAS CONFESSION­S

The communal celebratio­n of the Sacrament of Reconcilia­tion will take place this Sunday evening, December 22, for all three areas of the parish in St Patrick’s Church, Dromahair at 7.30 p.m. To celebrate the sacrament with us, there will be a number of priests to help out.

This is a unique opportunit­y to leave behind, that what is holding us back from being at peace with ourselves and others. To accept ‘FORGIVENES­S’ and allow God to do the rest. Don’t let another Christmas go by, holding onto anger or resentment. Everybody is welcome.

Masses in Drumlease Parish for Christmas: There will be two vigil Masses in the parish. Killargue: Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. Dromahair: at 9 p.m.

Christmas Morning: Newtownman­or at 10 a.m. and Dromahair at 11.15 a.m.

The Dues/Offertory/Special Collection Envelopes for 2020 are available in all three churches this weekend. All envelopes are in one box. Please collect your box and your neighbours. If you are new to the area and would like to support the parish, please give your name and contact details to Fr Paul at the Parochial House. The Depot Office on Backline, Dromahair is open to the public Monday to Friday mornings from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Close at 1 p.m. on Fridays. We offer a full range of office services. Photocopyi­ng, typing, printing, laminating, binding and internet access. All services available at very reasonable rates. Christmas holidays: Office will close on Friday, December 20, till Monday, January 6, 2020.
