CHRISTMAS CHARITY WALK

Christmas Charity 4km walk on Sunday, January 5, at 2 p.m. from the Coolaney Community Centre, in aid of South Sligo Cancer Support. Bring all your unwanted seets and buscuits for the cancer centre.

COOLANEY MART FUNDRAISER

At the recent of of year sale and party in O’Gradys, a total of €2,825 was collected for hospice. Our thanks to evrybody who contribnut­ed in any way. Thanks to the singres and musicians who provided the entertainm­ent, Pauric Corcoran, Michael McKenna, Hugh McCann, Laura Moore, Harry and Fergus McGowan, Patrick Fleming, Jason Winters and others.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Community Games Draughts practice continues Friday evenings in the community centre for under-10s, under-12s, under-14s, and under-16s. Beginners and those who have played before are ALL welcome. Bring your board if you have one and €1.

ANNUAL STAFF AND PUPILS MASS

Join us for the first annual Mass for deceased staff and pupils of Benada Abbey, St Attracta’s and the Marist Convent Schools on Saturday, January 18, at 8.30 p.m. in Tourlestra­ne Church. Afterwards all are invited to Benada Abbey Hall for tea and coffee which will allow you to intermingl­e with old classmates and former pupils. Killoran 25 card game has resumed in Killoran Community Centre on Wednesdays at 9 p.m.

Ballinacar­row Card Games recommence­d in Ballinacar­row Community Centre on Thursdays at 9 p.m.

COOLANEY UTD BONUS BALL

The Coolaney United Wednesday and Saturday night Bonus Ball Draw continues. The cost per ball is €5 and the weekly jackpot prize is €100. Bonus balls can be purchased in PK MEATS and O’Gradys shop.

FORÓIGE CLUB

The Foróige Club takes place on Friday evenings in Coolaney Community Centre between 7.30 p.m. and 9 p.m. It is open to all youths aged 13 to 18 years. For more informatio­n contact Mark at 086 0740841 or Brendan 087 3964541.
