TOMMY HERAGHTY TRACTOR RUN

When the tenth annual Manorhamilton IFA Branch Tractor Run starts on New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1, at 1.30 p.m. from Manorhamilton Mart this popular promotion will honour a founder member of the local farmer’s organisation as well as the highly successful fundraising tractor run event, namely the late Tommy Heraghty, Tullyskerney.

Well known local farmer and Manorhamilton publican Tommy passed on peacefully to his eternal reward at St Vincent’s University Hospital Dublin on Thursday, May 30, 2019.

The beneficiaries of the New Year’s Day 2020 Tommy Heraghty Memorial Tractor Run will be the St Clare’s Church Graveyard Fund and the Manorhamilton Parish Church Graveyard Maintenance Fund. The Heraghty Family has requested that both of the above local charities should be beneficiaries of the 2020 Manorhamilton IFA New Year’s Day annual tractor run.

Meantime everyone who would like to contribute to the charities for which the Tommy Heraghty Memorial Tractor Run is being promoted is invited to place his or her donation in to one of the buckets that members of the IFA will have available in the environs of Manorhamilton Mart on Wednesday.
