WESTERN GAELS HURLING CLUB

Western Gaels hurling club will hold a presentati­on for players on Saturday, February 8, at 6 p.m. at the astroturf Pitch in Quigabar.

COLÁISTE IASCAIGH

The senior girls’ football team from Coláiste Iascaigh have topped group B in the Sligo league. They beat Colaiste Mhuire Ballymote, Jesus and Mary Secondary School, Enniscrone and St Attracta’s, Tubbercurr­y. They will play the top of group A in the Sligo A final in the coming weeks. Congratula­tions girls for getting this far and best of luck in the county final.

RATHLEE NATIONAL SCHOOL OPEN EVENING

An open evening will take place at Rathlee National School on Wednesday, February 12 from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. The children will have an opportunit­y to play and to see their classroom. You will have the opportunit­y to meet their teacher, chat to other parents, see our facilities and have a cup of tea. EOGHAN RUA LADIES

Eoghan Rua LGFC will hold the annual medal presentati­on on Saturday, February 1, in the Diamond Coast Hotel. Buffet and medal presentati­on with special guest Mona McSharry world champion swimmer and winner of Irelands Fittest Family. Tickets available from committee members.

SAFE TALK TRAINING COURSE

A Safe Talk training course will be held in Dromore West Community Centre on February 20, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Booking is essential, contact Gregory at 087 3329392. This training is suitable for anyone over 18 who wants to help prevent suicide and is prepared to become suicide alert.

EASKEY CARD GAME

A card game takes place in Easkey in the school beside the church on Sundays at 8.30. Proceeds for the upgrade works of the Cemetry. DROMORE WEST TIDY TOWNS

Dromore West Tidy Towns have set up a private group to allow people who are interested in car sharing. They invite individual­s, sports groups, big employers, community groups to come together and save money, fuel and the planet by sharing a lift.

HEALTH AND FITNESS COURSE

A health and Fitness QQ1 Level 3 Fitness course in learning about healthy living, nutrition and physical activity will take place every Monday and Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Enniscrone FRC Contact Mary at 097 7876905.

SKREEN DANCE

The social dance will be held in Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on Saturday, January 25. Dancing from 10 p.m. with Ally Harron and Marian Curry.

Windmill Players, Dromore West will present their production of ‘WANTED – One Body.’ in the Hawkswell Theatre, Sligo on Friday, January 31.
