Be sure to put in your diary the change of date for Cloonacool Players reprise of ‘Don’t Tell the Wife’ it will now be on Sunday, March 15. The hilarious comedy is proving a hit at every venue, so it is great to have it back in Cloonacool for those who missed it or want to see it again. This performanc­e is in support of Tubbercurr­y’s Sligo Cancer Support Centre. See you on Sunday, March 15, at 8 p.m. in Cloonacool Community Centre.

Cloonacool Players travel to the Hawk’s Well Theatre Sligo on Sunday, March 8, st 8 p.m. A great venue for a sparkling performanc­e from a mighty cast – Peadar Conway, Geraldine Lundy, Brid Calvey, Dennis Ross, Mary.

COMMUNITY PARK DRAW

The Cloonacool community park lotto draw for February took place in Brennan’s over the weekend for a jackpot of €3,900. The numbers drawn were 7, 11, 14 and 25. There was no winner of the jackpot, but we had three match-three winners who share €200. Congratula­tions to Deirdre Kelly, Kevin and Caroline Prendergas­t, and Alan Muldoon. Next month’s jackpot will be worth €4,000. Many thanks for your generous support.

CRAFTERS GROUP

The Cloonacool Crafters group meets in the Cloonacool community centre, every Monday morning at 10.30. New members are welcome. The group have worked on card making, knitting, crochet and more, and members can learn new skills and share existing ones with members. Anyone interested in the group can call in any Monday from 10.30 a.m.
