Do you need help during this time of social distancing? A group called Dromahair volunteers can be contacted on Facebook. This group are offering to help people with shopping, walking the dog, picking up prescriptions etc. All precautions will be taken as per HSE guidelines so as not to spread virus.

Also the local GAA club on their Facebook say ‘ Dromahair GAA has a long standing tradition for being there for their members and community during difficult times. It would be great if in these current times this would continue.

We are encouraging people to reach out and visit those who are elderly and living on their own in our community to make sure they’re okay – they may need help getting shopping etc. All the talk in the media can be overwhelming so we need to be kind and sensible – we will get through this together.

Let’s all do our bit, listen to the official recommendations and be there for each other.

Both Dromahair Centra (071 9164630) and Gala (071 9164666) are offering free delivery to anyone who wants to avail of it at this time.
