Firms reaching online potential during Covid-19

CRISIS HAS SHOWN HOW IMPORTANT ONLINE PRESENCE IS FOR BUSINESS

-

WHEN Brand Power set up an office in Sligo three years ago, their goal was to help as many businesses as possible reach their potential online with modern, functional websites and smart digital marketing strategies.

“Right now, getting online has never been more important,” says Shane Boyle, Managing Director at Brand Power. “More than ever, people are looking to the web for information, services, and shopping.

“By having a strong online presence, businesses can stay present in their customers’ minds, and even continue building that relationship, whether or not they’re trading at the moment.

“And, there are some great local and national supports available to help businesses get started.”

Brand Power now has a staff of eight (working from home, like so many across the country) with a range of specializations. As an agency, they focus particularly on brand development, website design and development, and content creation.

Their team’s latest mission is to support businesses in Ireland as they react to the crisis, which has already had serious ramifications for many.

“Getting O’Hehirs Bakery &

Café set up with a smart website that best reflects their brilliant brand was definitely a highlight of the last few weeks,” continues Boyle.

The bakery’s new website, designed and developed by Brand Power, gives the popular local business a new trading outlet. Customers can design celebration cakes online with many customizable options and collect it at their local bakery counter at a specified time.

“Getting online helps businesses connect with those customers that they might lose otherwise.”

“We are also delighted to be working with Healthwise Pharmacy,” Boyle says. “Developing their online prescription ordering is going to help their staff stay safe in the current climate, and give their customers peace of mind too, that they still have access to essentials from a wellknown and loved pharmacy.”

Looking ahead, Brand Power predicts that this will continue to be important in the future. No one can say for certain how long this crisis will last, but it never hurts to have a secondary method of trading and communicating business messages.

“Our team are always happy to jump on a call, listen to the particular needs of a business, and go through the available options,” Shane says.

“We know the process of getting online can be overwhelming and confusing at times, and our goal is to make it as simple as possible, from needs assessments to taking advantage of the supports that are out there.”

Brand Power work with businesses of all sizes, across all markets and industries throughout Ireland.

They give support after the website launch to make sure the implemented strategies deliver real results.

From sales to lead generation, their full-service team continue supporting clients in their online journey, even after the website is built and launched to ensure success.

“It’s about giving businesses the best possible chance at success,” Shane says, “and we really look at it as a partnership, with that mutual goal in common.”
