CHECKOUT ENNISCRONE

We’ve decided to launch a little competition for local children (West Sligo area)

We are asking them to use all their imagination to make a fairy door/house. We’d like you to use materials around you or in your shed like twigs, pebbles, shells, off cuts of wood etc.

We will announce further details at the end of the week but we can guarantee there will be free ice-cream for the winners.

In conjunction with the Enniscrone Community Council we plan to display these in the Castlefield in Enniscrone.

So in the mean time have a look at what you have available to you at the moment and see where your imagination brings you. We are so excited to see what you all come up with.

We wish you all the best of luck, Joe and staff.

What a fantastic community. Thank you so much to everyone who kindly donated books to our community cabinet. It is greatly appreciated.

The community cabinet is open for everyone to take books. Due to the high volume of book donations we will not be taking any more till further notice.

With such interest in the community cabinet we have also decided to host an online Book Club. We have teamed up with local Author, Lyndsey Gallagher to come up with a suggestion of books to get us started. All you will need is: a smartphone, laptop or computer with internet access; an active email address; a quiet corner in your home,

Support is available by West Sligo Family Resource Centre staff on how to set up an email address and how to use the online platform Zoom prior to workshops commencing.

Have you registered for your free booklets for ‘Lets Play Sligo’ 21-day activity challenge for children. This week kicks off week two of the activity cards.
