EASTERN HARPS

WE are currently doing a survey which will hopefully give us some guidelines to form our 5-year plan. We would be delighted if you could spend 10 minutes to complete. The link can be found on our website. If anyone would like a paper copy to complete then please contact any member of the executive. Well done to

Donal Mitchell for doing the relay run as part of the Sligo U16 GAA squad. The funds raised went to Pieta House. The club would like to extend sympathies to the family of John Lyons from the Shamrock Gaels club, father of current Shamrock Gaels player Evan Lyons and the family of Ciara McKenna who passed away recently. Congratulations to Kielty Meehan and Michelle Curran and the birth of their baby girl Saoirse and Edel and David McNulty on the birth of their baby girl Anna.

ENNISCRONE/KILGLASS

The Enniscrone/Kilglass GAA club are set to kick their way through the night next Saturday when they hold a 24-hour Kickathon fundraiser.

The event, which runs from 2pm on Saturday to 2pm on Sunday, will raise funds for North West Hospice and Diabetes Ireland.

Running for 24 hours, players from the club’s Intermediate team will provide most of the participants while club executive members and some former players dotted around the world will also be involved.

There will be 48 time slots of 30 minutes in duration, during which time the participant will kick the ball to another member of their household or against a wall.

Donations have flooded in since the event was launched last weekend. Those interested in contributing can do so on the Enniscrone/ Kilglass GAA 24 Hour Kickathon GoFundMe page. The Kickathon will be covered extensively on the club’s social media channels from Saturday at 2pm.
