Cairde Arts Festival moving online in July
THE Cairde Sligo Arts Festival is moving online this year and becoming Cairde Connected - a programme of literary, music, performance and family events to be broadcast from July 8th to 11 th.
Tara McGowan, Festival Director said “Due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, we have not been able to go ahead with this year’s arts festival as planned but we have put together a programme of events which we will be sharing online.
“This way, we can keep that vital connection between festival, artists and audiences alive. We will be announcing the full programme soon.”
The Festival is delighted to present a thought provoking and stimulating literary and performance programme under the banner of Cairde Word.
Music has always been at the beating heart of Cairde Sligo Arts Festival and Cairde Connected will provide a pulsating online programme for music lovers.
