Clean-up of Sligo is set for July 4th

TRADITIONALLY the tidy towns season starts with a big clean on Good Friday.

However, due to the Covid 19 restrictions, Sligo Tidy Towns had to postpone this year’s event until it was deemed safe for its volunteers to meet and get involved.

However, Sligo Tidy Towns is delighted to announce that the Big Clean will now go ahead next Saturday, 4 th of July.

They are asking volunteers to meet in Stephen’s street car park at 11 am. All are welcome.

Gloves, Bags , pickers and hi viz vests will be provided.
