THIS summer Focus Ireland is encouraging Sligo to ‘Show Their Colours’ and help raise funds for the charity’s vital services.

Focus Ireland is asking businesses and communities to wear or hang their club, county or parish colours on July 3rd, 4 th and 5 th to brighten up villages, towns and cities across Sligo and Ireland.

Focus Ireland CEO and proud Sligo native Pat Dennigan said: “The last three months have been extremely challenging for people across the country but ‘Show Your Colours’ is an opportunity for people to take pride in their community while raising money for our crucial services nationwide.

“Whether it’s sporting events or cultural festivals, Ireland has always been extremely proud in showing our colours but unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic has meant many events have been cancelled completely.

“I look forward to seeing the creativity of our fundraisers in showing their colours for Focus

Ireland whether through flags, T-shirts bunting or even dying your hair”

In Sligo, since January 2020 alone Focus Ireland have already supported 292 local people through their many services available. In order to continue to provide these services Focus Ireland need your help.
