Lindsay all scored from play before the interval leaving the score Easkey 0-08 to St Michael’s 1-02.

After half time Easkey substitute Kevin Duffy scored a point after a fine run, however Ryan Walsh replied with another fine free.

A point from a Mikey Gordon free restored Easkey’s 4 point lead before Joe McHugh increased the lead with another point after fine work from Ian Barrett.

James Mackey responded for St Michael’s with a point from play however this was to be St Michael’s last score for the game with Easkey taking control.

Points from Rory McHugh, Mikey Gordon and three more points for Joe McHugh increased the advantage before a goal from Joe McHugh wrapped up the scoring for the Sea Blues giving them a 12 point win.

Easkey have a showdown with St John’s in 2 weeks which could decide the semifinal placings.

St Michael’s have Castleconn­or in 2 weeks with both teams looking to avoid the bottom two relegation spots as things really start to heat up in the group stages of the intermedia­te championsh­ip.

THIS game was played in beautiful sunny conditions on Saturday evening and the sun certainly did shine on the West Sligo side in this game. Martin Mulligan opened the scoring with a point from play followed by another from Finnian Cawley. Ryan McManus scored for St. John’s from a free. Patrick O’Connor also got a free and duly pointed it. St. Farnan’s first goal came from Gavin Connolly who powered his way through St. John’s defence and sent the ball to the back of the net. Brian McGowan who worked very hard throughout added a point from play after a fine passing movement. St. Farnan’s dominated possession and a number of players found themselves on the scoring sheet.
