KILGLASS/ENNISCRONE UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB

We usually have our Christmas draw this time of year and our kids sell lines for a fundraiser for the club. But with Covid it hasn’t been possible.

For the year that’s in it we felt it was important to give back to our kids in the club. Last night we started distributing over 230 bobble hats with our two groups of under-12Bs boys and our under-13 girls receiving their bobble hats, they looked really smart and I’m sure they will be put to good use.

We gave out our bobble hats to our 8s, 9s, 10s, under-12As and under-15s and 16s groups over the last few evenings with a surprise guest for our under-eights Santa and his helper Ciara the elf..

The kids were delighted and we were delighted to see all the happy faces. A big thank you to all the coaches who volunteer their time, it may not have been the season we hoped for but in many ways it’s brought the best out in our community.
