ELECTRICITY RETURNS TO CARROWMORE SCHOOLHOUSE
Electrical refurbishments works have been carried out at Carrowmore Schoolhouse to return a safe electricity supply to the 19th century Schoolhouse. This included an upgrading of electricity sockets and lighting, outdoor lighting and the installation of heaters. This was made possible through the successful grant application by a.m. CE Group to Sligo County Council under the centre’s and Building Fund. Hopefully 2021 will see an easing of Covid restrictions allowing for an offical switch on and a number of opertunities for the community to come together at the old Schoolhouse.
