Co-locating on masts

IT is Sligo County Council’s policy that operators should seek to co-locate their services on a single mast where possible.

Director of Services Dorothy Clarke explained to Cllr Joe Queenan that that is the policy the council adopted as part of the County Development Plan, 2017-2023 and is in line with the national policy entitled Telecommunications Antannae and Support Structures - Guidelines for Planning Authorities.

Cllr Queenan welcomed the confirmation having submitted a motion on the issue.
