LARGER numbers of stock presented for sale this week with a good all round trade and clearance reported. The bullock and heifer rings aided by strong Northern demand and farmer activity noticed some fancy prices given for the quality lots. In the weanling rings prices are continuing to rise especially for the weanling heifers as the number of customers seeking stock continues to grow. Larger numbers of suck calves on offer this week with quality determining the price paid while the Dry cows continue to be a good trade and breeding stock in demand also with springers peaking at €2080.
