LOVE IS A STRANGER
The team behind Another Love Story, one of Ireland’s most cherished festivals, are delighted to announce a new edition of their roaming mini festival series Love Is A Stranger; taking place amidst the stunning surrounds of Juniper Barn, Ballymote - in the heart of the epic Sligo countryside as summer begins to bloom on Saturday May 18th.
Love Is A Stranger Juniper Barn features the customary eclectic Another Love Story blend of carefully selected local and international Live artists & DJs performing in & around the beautifully renovated 18th century barns & grounds of Juniper Barn for an atmospheric early summer party.
The line up embraces both live music and DJs throughout the day, and includes international guests DJs brilliant Manchester selector and online personality Luke Una & the wildly positive and expressive Norwegian DJ Skatebard,
The live programme features fast rising Irish art pop singer Rachael Lavelle, the brilliant folk rock of Robert John Ardiff, the wonderful Sligo native contemporary harpist Brídín, emerging talents Rob De Boer and Ellie O’Neill, and Achill Island’s folk star Graham Sweeney.
The event will be visited by Irish DJ royalty via Donal Dineen’s Backstory, Galway’s Lolz, and a host of Sligo’s finest Djs and crews with Ricky Chong, Toast, Turn It On!, Making Waves & Kevin Noone keeping the party going all day and well into the early summer night alongside the fabled ALS party crew The Shift Shack Soundsystem.
Love Is A Stranger will run as an intimate one day + night event, with very limited Overnight Camping / Camper Van Attendee Tickets, and Day Attendee Tickets available :Day Attendees : €57.50/ Overnight Attendees : €82.50/ Family Tickets [2 Adults & 2 x Kids U16] : €110.00/ Camper Van Pass : €25.00, Attendee’s must hold an Overnight Attendee Ticket to gain entry to the Campsite / Camper Van Area.

BOYLE ARTS FESTIVAL
Boyle Arts Festival has announced that the legendary singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Paul Brady will be one of the headliners at BAF 2024 this summer.
Making his first ever appearance in Boyle, Paul will play a very special concert in St. Joseph’s Hall on Friday, July 26 th.

One of Ireland’s most highly regarded artists, Paul Brady crosses musical boundaries again and again, incorporating folk, rock, blues traditional Irish & classic pop styles into his songwriting.
His live performances, whether solo or with full band, include songs from his extensive catalogue of 40 years, many of which have been covered by a huge array of major artists.
Songs such as ‘ The Island’, ‘Crazy Dreams’, ‘Nothing But The Same Old Story’, ‘Nobody Knows’, ‘Follow On’, ‘ The Long Goodbye’, ‘ The Homes of Donegal’ and ‘Paradise Is Here’ have, over the years, given joy and emotional sustenance to generations of Irish at home and abroad.
An evening with Paul Brady on stage is a captivating experience, as he invites you into his world of songs and music in a way that will surprise in its intimacy, sense of fun and raw power.
By now a well-loved ‘elder statesman’ of the Irish musical community, he continues to garner respect and admiration from today’s younger writers and performers. Glen Hansard, Imelda May, Wallis Bird, Declan O’Rourke and Hozier are among the many that hold him in high regard.
