Fine crowd for Pettitt’s night
‘Spoon Me’ wins feature race
THERE WAS a massive crowd in attendance at Enniscorthy on Thursday night last for the annual Pettitt’s gala race night with free finger food, music and kiddie bags etc. Pettitt’s take a bow for making it a great family night out.
The feature race was the final of the Pettitt’s A2/3 Stake whitch produced an exciting finish as the Harry Seerytrained ‘Spoon Me’ put his good early pace to use when leading and battling on gamely to hold the strong challenge of ‘Lord Ruso’ from the third bend to the line. With the enthusiastic crowd getting involved, it made the finish even more exciting.
