SYMPATHY

A huge wave of sadness swept over the Tullicanna/Ballymitty area and beyond on Friday last August 15 with the spreading of the news of the passing of Ann Tobin, Tulllicanna. Ann, beloved wife of Dick and mother of Ailish, Marie, Richard, Therese, Jenni and Emmet passed away at Wexford General hospital on Friday morning surrounded by her loving family.

Ann was much loved by everyone who had the pleasure to know her and was an inspiration to all. She was a dedicated member of The Tullicanna Fund Raising Committee, a group of friends who spent many hours and much fun fundraising for different organisations but mostly for Windmill Therapeutic Centre, Wexford an organisation very dear to Ann’s heart.

Ann was the heart and soul of Tullicanna and whenever you needed a hand or a bit of advice you always went to Ann whose door was always open to all and her advice you would take on board as it was always well thought out and more importantly given with great care and enthusiasm. Ann was a loving wife and mother and the greatest friend one could have and she will be so greatly missed by her family and friends.

Ann reposed at home in Tullicanna at the weekend and her removal took place to Ballymitty Church on Sunday for mass at 10.15 with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Ann is survived by her heartbroken husband Dick, daughters Ailish, Marie, Therese and Jenni, sons Richard and Emmett, grandchildren and great grandchild, brother Sean, sisters Maria, Elsie, Carol and Majella, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends, to all of which we extend our deepest sympathy, may she rest in peace.
