GOLDEN EAGLES G.S.

The Golden Eagles had a wonderful week long break to Nenagh during the past week. Apart from a shower on Thursdaymorning the weather was glorious. There was a high standard of golf played, with several players into the low forties. John Colfer won on 75 points, closely followed by Paul Roche and Richie Byrne, both on 74 points.

Ryan Stafford had his second major win in as many weeks when he romped home in the President's Prize in Blackwater on Sunday morning. Great credit is due to Oliver Roche, who as President, had a magnificent selection of prizes for the occasion. There was a full turnout and a very enjoyable day was had by all. Next Sunday is Doubles Matchplay day in Rathaspeck, with tee-off at8.30am.
