GAA

Latest lotto numbers in the Crossabeg-Ballymurn GAA Club draw were 1, 9, 19 and 25. There was no jackpot winner. Lucky dips winners were Dylan Lambert and Johnny Connolly.

The jackpot is worth €10,000 this week. The Junior B footballers received a walkover from St Fintan’s last week. With the group stages complete they are through to the district semifinal, while the Intermediate A footballers also received a walkover from Davidstown. They have finished top of their group and will play Réalt na Mara in the county quarter final. Hard luck to the under-16 hurlers who were beaten in the county semifinal last week, going down to Kilross Gaels after a good effort on a score-line of 4-17 to 3-16. Well done to the players and their mentors for all their hard work during the year. The minor hurlers lost to Blackwater last week and will play their final group game against Dunbrody Gaels this Wednesday, August 24, in Ballymurn at 7.15 p.m. The intermediate hurlers will play Monageer in their final group game on Saturday, August 27, at 2 p.m in St Patrick’s park. The Junior B hurlers have completed all their group games and are also through to the district semifinal.
