‘Seven Men, Seven Days’, a pageant featuring more than 70 local people, will showcase the chaos and confusion of the Easter 1916 Rising both at a local and national level. They’ll be Dancing at the Crossroads in Killinick during a special night of music and entertainm­ent to celebrate the 20th anniversar­y of Wexford’s unforgetta­ble All-Ireland hurling win in 1996. The free festival is on this Saturday, September 3, starting at 7 p.m. and everyone is invited along to mark the famous sporting achievemen­t. Members of the team are expected to be in attendance. Wexford County Council has granted a road closure order to facilitate Dancing at the Crossroads, which has been organised by a local committee. A succession of bands and musicians will take to the stage, starting at 7 p.m. with Friction followed by traditiona­l musicians from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and Cosmics with DJ Shane Sinnott coming on CAR BOOT SALE

The Tullogher-Rosbercon Classic and Vintage Club will hold a road run on Sunday, September 11. Assembling at Rosbercon Parish Centre at midday and the turning point is at St Mullins in Co.
