CROKE PARK DAY OUT

Last Tuesday 30 boys and girls from Our Lady’s Island/St Fintan’s got to play a hurling match in Croke Park. An early start saw the players and their family members set off on two coaches to Dublin. Once they arrived the boys and girls had a quick change before being brought for tour of the dressing rooms and also getting to lift the cup in the stands.

Then they got to play their match against a Westmeath team. This fantastic experience is a once in a lifetime event which we hope the players will never forget.

A big thanks to mentors Davy, Linda, Willie, Edward and Enda for helping to make the day so enjoyable
