HOSPICE COFFEE MORNING

The annual coffee morning in aid of Hospice Homecare will take place this Thursday, October 27, in the Island Bar from 10.30 to 12.30. Raffle on the morning also. Please support this very worthy cause.

NIGHTS OF COMEDY

A reminder that the Ballycogle­y Players will present their annual ‘Nights of Comedy’ under the title ‘Mayhem and Merriment’ at St Michael’s hall, Thomas St, Wexford from Thursday, 27th to Sunday, October 30, at 8 p.m. each night. It will feature two one-act plays and a surprise or two. Admission €10 – tickets at the door.

CONCERT

Concert with Trumpet and Organ given by Kaitlin Wild and Richard Dunster-Sigtermans in Our Lady’s Island Community Centre on Sunday next, October 30, at 2.30 p.m. Proceeds in aid of parish funds. ART EXHIBITION

Local artist Deirdre Moriarty has an art exhibition in Tacumshane Old School on Sunday, November 6, after 10 Mass, all are welcome to pop along and see the talent this woman has in her hands, and enjoy a coffee in the process. Check out her work on deirdremor­iarty.com in the meantime.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to John Ellard, Ballask, Carne, who won split-the-pot last week receiving €192. Draw will take place in Community Hall after Sunday Mass. All proceeds to Church Restoratio­n Fund. Thanks to all concerned.
