The SVDP annual appeal takes place after after all masses in Glynn and Barntown this weekend – December 3 and 4. All money raised stays in the local community.

COFFEE MORNING

A festive coffee morning and cake sale will take place on Sunday, December 4, in the school hall following 11 a.m. mass. Festive treats and face paining for all. Donations of cakes and raffle prizes will be gratefully appreciate­d.

CAMOGIE CLUB NEWS

COFFEE MORNING – GlynnBarnt­own camogie club will hold a coffee morning and cake sale on Sunday, December 4, in the clubhouse from 10.40 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Come along and enjoy a festive cuppa and catch up. Donations of cakes to the clubhouse will be gratefully received from 9.30 a.m. on Sunday in the clubhouse.

MEDAL PRESENTATI­ON – A Co. camogie medal presentati­on evening was held on Thursday last and Glynn-Barntown were well represente­d on the night by Niamh Rowe, Niamh Cogley, Emma Dempsey, Alibeth Moran Curran and Rachel Murphy (under-14 Division two blitz winners), Cora Doyle, Aisling Halligan and Emma Sweeney (under-16 Leinster Shield) and Emma Walsh (Senior Leinster Champions).
