Fabulous Flynn nets five goals for Killenagh

Moyne Rangers strengthened their position at the top of the table as they saw off Adamstown 2-0 on Sunday, with Seán Cloherty and Jack Bolger getting the goals.

After two defeats on the trot, Wexford Celtic got back to winning ways to regain second spot, while North End United and Crossabeg drew 2-2.

Danny Fitzpatrick and Brandon Sinnott scored for the town side, while Joe Wilson replied with a double for Crossabeg.

Ricky Fox bagged all four goals for Shamrock Rovers as they beat Gorey Rangers 4-2, while Owen Quigley and Cathal Murphy (two) got on the scoresheet for Stoney Rovers as they picked up a 3-2 away win against Fastnet Rovers.

Division2A

Martin Flynn was the main man for Killenagh Wanderers on Sunday as he netted all of his side’s goals in their 5-0 win over Duncannon.

Leaders Cloughbawn comfortably saw off Rathnure in a local derby, winning 6-1 with goals from Connal Flood (two), Pádraig Loughlin, Willie Murphy, Páidí Cullen and Stephen Mahon.

Pa Beary netted the winner for North End United as they edged out Rosslare Port 3-2.

Ciarán Carty and Jason Leniston got the other goals for the Wexford town outfit, with Jamie McMahon grabbing a double for Port.

Shane Murray and Gary Sinnott got the goals for New Ross Town as they edged out Fethard Rangers 2-1.

Division3

Bree United lead the way in Division 3 after edging out Cushinstown by the odd goal in five on Sunday.

Noel Roche (two) and Wayne Dunne got the goals for the winners, with Robbie Corcoran and Johnny Murphy replying for Cushinstown.

Enniscorthy United are hot on their heels thanks to a 3-1 win over Raheen, with Billy Millar, Peter Cullen and Ger Molloy (penalty) scoring for the winners and Pádraig Whitty replying.

Eoghan Kehoe bagged a hat-trick for Ballymurn as they chalked up a 6-1 win in Caim, with Paul Dempsey, Shane Whelan and P.J. Bourke also getting in on the act.

Oylegate also won on their travels, beating The Ballagh 2-1 wth goals from Conor Heffernan and Jamie Reck.

Division3A

Cory St. Ledger was the match-winner for Shelburne as they inflicted the first defeat of the season on leaders Wexford Albion. St. Ledger grabbed the only goal of the game to tighten things up at the top of the table.

Bridge Rovers took full advantage with a 5-1 win over Wexford Celtic to move within two points of the pacesetters.

Adam Whitmore netted a hat-trick for Curracloe as they won 4-1 in Campile, with Jamie Furlong getting their other goal.

Michael Cullen got on the scoresheet for Rosbercon, but they went down to a 3-1 defeat in Courtown, with Daniel O’Brien and Oisín Condren (two) scoring for Hibs.

Leaders Crossabeg proved too good for bottom side Enniscorthy United, running out comfortable 4-0 winners with goals from Conor Keeling (two), Niall Kelly and James Carley.

Francis Parle and Tommy Byrne bagged the goals for St. Leonards as they edged out Gorey Celtic 2-1, while All Blacks and Carne F.C. shared the spoils after drawing 1-1 in their local derby.

Cloughbawn cemented their position at the top of the table with a 2-1 win over fellow promotion hopefuls Shamrock Rovers on Sunday.

Kevin Murphy and Mick Kehoe got the goals for the leaders, with Tony Kenny replying for the Enniscorthy outfit.

Second-placed St. Joseph’s saw off Bree United 3-0 with a Brendan McCreary double and a goal from Pa O’Brien, while Boolavogue beat Rosslare Port 4-0 with goals from David Ryan, Fionn Doyle, Lee Murphy and Darragh Kehoe (penalty).

Elsewhere, Tombrack United overwhelmed previously unbeaten Ajax Athletic 6-0, while Enniscorthy Town beat Taghmon United 7-2.

Wexford Albion and Castledockrell shared the spoils after an exciting top of the table clash on Sunday.

The sides drew 3-3 with Mark Lett, Cian Rossiter and Colm Heffernan scoring for the hosts and Ned Hendrick, Paddy Kavanagh and Kevin Rellis replying for Castledockrell.

Stoney Rovers and Ballymurn also couldn’t be separated, drawing 2-2 with Wayne Donnelly bagging a double for Stoney and Josh Whitehead and Billy Roche replying.

Killenagh edged out St. Cormac’s with Stephen Doran, Oisín Dunbar and Colm Cosgrave scoring for the winners and Ian Hawkins and Jamie Doyle replying for the saints.

Elsewhere, Camolin beat Duncannon 2-0 and Cushinstown saw off Caim United by the same scoreline.
