The camogie club would like to wish all our players and supporters a happy new year. We look forward to seeing you all in the field again in 2017.

GAA CLUB NOTES

Lotto: This week’s lotto numbers were 7, 10, 15 and 19. Match-three winners Tina Murphy, Bridie Fagan and Eddie, Mag and Aaron Balfe. Next lotto draw takes place on January 4, jackpot is €5,400.

Crossabeg Ballymurn GAA club wishes to thank all our lotto buyers and sellers for their support during the year and wish ye all a prosperous 2017.

Our club AGM will take place on Friday, January 6, at 8.30 p.m. in Ballymurn hall.

Club Christmas draw results: First prize €1,000, Lily Cummins. Second prize a load of fire wood, Michael O’Grady. Third and fourth prizes are €100, Jack O’Brien and Tommy Kinlough. While the fifth prize lunch for two in the Riverbank Hotel went to Kieran Bresnan. Thanks to all those who bought and sold tickets.

BALLYMURN 5K FUN RUN

Hi All, its been a while since our announceme­nt of our Fun Run on January 22, 2017. We have been busy adding a bit of excitement to the run this year. Since we are sharing what we raise this year between Temple Street Hospital and Ballymurn National School. The teachers of Ballymurn National School have taken the task of racing against a Temple Street Team which will comprise of parents of the pupils in the school with an additional €200 up for grabs for the winning team,.

COMMUNITY FITNESS

Crossabeg-Ballymurn Ladies Gaelic Football Club presents Operation Transforma­tion and Between the Bells 2017, a community fitness activity for all the family – let’s get fitter together.

Crossabeg Ballymurn Ladies Gaelic Football Club organised a fundraiser to get the community active in 2016. It was a great success and we will be running the same format in January 2017.

The fit-fun starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, and finishes on Tuesday, February 21. The final get together will take place on Tuesday, February 28. More informatio­n can be found on the Crossabeg-Ballymurn Ladies Gaelic Football Facebook page.
