Eight more qualify for the Grand Final
SECOND SEMI OF WEXFORD HAS TALENT – SPONSORED BY THE WEXFORD PEOPLE – TAKES PLACE AT CLAYTON WHITES HOTEL
EIGHT more acts made it through to the Grand Final of Wexford Has Talent on Saturday night, joining seven which had already qualified for the big night on February 11.
Fifteen acts involving singing, ballet, opera, martial arts and more were showcased at the Semi Final 2 event at Clayton Whites Hotel. The eight qualifying are: ballerina Sorcha Finn, singer Éabha Carty, 7th Fret harmony group, singer Will Troy Walsh, singer Caoimhe Troy, singer Jirat O’Neill, operatic singer Emma Hore and singer Hayley Crosbie.
Also performing at the Semi Final 2 event were martial arts performer Naoise McManus, pianist Emma Murphy, singer Emma O’Leary, singer Chris Flood Hayes, singer Jack Quinn, singer Jenny Murphy, singer Ciara Doherty.
All the successful qualifiers go through to the grand final at Clayton Whites on February 11.
Semi Final 1 qualifiers are singer and guitarist Aaron McStein, pole artist Danielle Reck, 19-yearold singer Adi Roche O’Leary, 15-year-old musical theatre performer Caoimhe Boyle from Foulkesmills, 13-year-old singer Aoife Goodison, 19-yearold singer from Wexford town Luke Hayes and hip hop dance troupe from Wexford town ‘Hysteria’.
Vicky Clancy said it had been an incredible show. She said: ‘We have had to make eight very tough decisions this evening as this event has really encouraged the great and the good to come out and take part in the competition. The Grand Final is set to be a wonderful evening of entertainment, adrenalin and fun.
