Dance classes with Vilma continue in Camross Hall on this Thursday night, January 26. at 8.45 p.m. costing just €5.

SF CUMANN AGM

Parle/Crean/Hogan Cumann of Sinn Fein, Taghmon held their AGM recently. Chairman Larry Furlong thanked everyone for their hard work during the year, especially during the election campaign, when our candidate Cllr Johnny Mythen was just 30 votes short of taking a seat. The chairman also told members that this Cumann is ready to play its part in the upcoming general election, should it come early this year.

On behalf of the Cumann, Larry wished Martin McGuinness a return to good health. Secretary Des McCabe gave a detailed report of activities during the year. Election of officers for the coming year took place. Elected were: Chairman - Larry Furlong; Secretary - Des McCabe; Treasurer - Liz McCabe.

GAA NOTES

A great morning was enjoyed by all at the GAA breakfast morning on Sunday in the community centre. Thank you to all who helped out to make this morning such a success.

The minor football team had a good win on Sunday against Bannow/Ballymitty in The Martin Cullen Cup. Well done lads.
