BALLYCOGLEY PLAYERS
The Ballycogley Players will present their 3-act play ‘Lay Me Down Softly’ by Billy Roche on Wednesday, February 8, in Our Lady’s Island Community Centre and Friday and Saturday, February 17 and 18, in St Michael’s hall, Thomas Street, Wexford, 8 p.m. nightly, admission €10. Looking forward to seeing you all there for our pre-festival performances and supporting us before we commence our 2017 drama circuit journey.

COMMUNITY GAMES
The Community Games area swimming competition which will be held in Ferrybank Swimming Pool on Sunday, February 12, at 10.30 a.m. Entry fee is €3 per child. Under-8s and under-10s will swim one length of the pool, under-12, under-14 and under-16 two lengths.
The ethos of Community Games is based on participation and fun, children of all abilities are welcome to participate so come along and give it a go.

Cliona Connolly from the environment section of Wexford County Council will be present at this week’s meeting on Wednesday, January 25, at 10.30 a.m. in the Cois Barry Centre. Cliona will be talking to us about recycling and how it is good for your pocket as well as the environment. All are welcome so please come along bring a friend and who knows you might even get a cup of tea and bicky.
