Wexford Bus launching new route to Carlow and Carlow IT campus

-

WEXFORD Bus is to operate a new route from Wexford to Carlow and Carlow IT via Enniscorthy and Bunclody from Monday, February 6.

The company says the introduction of this service to Carlow enhances the Wexford Bus network considerably and offers passengers greater connectivity between the towns and cities of the South east.

With this new route, Wexford Bus will have daily services operating from Wexford to WIT, Carlow IT and the colleges and universities in Dublin.

‘ We carry a large number of students to and from college in Dublin and Waterford on both a daily and weekly basis and recognise that many students want to commute to college. This new Wexford Bus service to/from Carlow IT will make that easier and more affordable for students from County Wexford,’ said Brendan Crowley, Managing Director, Wexford Bus.

Route 376 will be the new route between Wexford and Carlow via Enniscorthy, Bunclody and Ballon. The first service in the morning will leave Wexford ( Redmond Square) at 07.30 and is scheduled to arrive in Carlow IT for 08.45. Wexford Bus will operate up to three daily services in each direction.

Wexford Bus also operate route 740 between Wexford and Dublin City & Airport via Enniscorthy, Ferns, Gorey and Arklow and route 340 between Wexford and Waterford via New Ross. For full details of the timetables and fares see www.wexfordbus. com
