GLYNN PARISH AGM

The AGM of the Parish Committee will be held in the hall kitchen in Monday, February 13, at 8 p.m. We are looking for new members to join the committee so please come along and get involved in your community.

BREE AC NEWS

Bree AC athletes took to the track for the final round of the Winter League on Sunday last in the Hub, Enniscorth­y. The sun shone and so did the athletes with all performing at their best.

Well done to Roise Fraser, Tadhg Fraser, Cillian Bolger & Aine Breen in the tiny tots race; U8 300m Lea Bolger 1st, Erin Ryan 17th, Saoirse Harte 18th: Jayden Kenny 1st, Shane Laffan 5th, Tom Finn 6th, PJ Breen 7th, Jack Doyle 11th, James Wall 13th, Billy Doyle 14th: U9 300m Ciara Laffan 1st, Chloe Casey 2nd: Cian Donovan 1st, Oisin Harte 6th, Con Fraser 10th: U10 500m Katie Doyle 1st: U11 600m Abbie Doyle 1st: U13 800M Conor Doyle 1st.

Special congratula­tions to Jayden Kenny, Lea Bolger, Ciara Laffan, Katie Doyle and Abbie Doyle who were presented with a Gold Star Award for winning four out of the four Winter League races. Well done to all concerned.

Congratula­tions to Sophie McCabe on receiving a Leinster All Star Award on Saturday nightlast at a celebratio­n dinner in the Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow. Entries are now due for the U12-19 Juvenile Leinster Indoors in Athlone IT. All athletes taking part must be registered members of Bree AC.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Glynn-Barntown Community Games and just about up and running for another year. The following events are taking place shortly; Draughts, Chess, table quiz, Gumnastics, Badmonton, Rugby, Soccer under-14 girls and Swimming.
