Annual Coach Tour 2017 – The Piercestown-Murrintown ARA club annual Coach Tour for 2017 is to the Slieve Russell Hotel Co Cavan on August 27 for three nights DBB (Sunday to Wednesday) with two-day tours (details to be advised later). Price is €280 pp sharing with €15 SRS. please ring Ann Rochford 087 6677411 to book your place, deposit of €100 secures your place. Book early to avoid disappointment. seats booking fast.

Local Coach Trip – Piercestown-Murrintown ARA have also organised an outing to New Ross (half Day), leaving Piercestown at 12.30 p.m., travelling to the Dunbrody Famine Ship for guided tour and to Ros Tapestry for practical demonstration and guided tour also. Coach and entry fees €30 per person. ring Ann at 087 6677411. There will be other trips in May and June also, more details later.

COMMUNITY GAMES

The Community Games area swimming competition which will be held in Ferrybank Swimming Pool on Sunday, February 12, at 10.30 a.m. Entry fee is €3 per child. Under-8s and under-10s will swim one length of the pool, under-12, under-14 and under-16 two lengths.
