A Clonard man had his case adjourned for hearing at last Tuesday’s sitting of New Ross District Court.

Daniel Przybylski (32), 90 Cluain Dara, Clonard, was charged with being intoxicate­d in a public place at Carrig Lower, Clonard on May 24, 2016.

Judge Gerard Haughton adjourned the case until May 2 for hearing. a garda checkpoint and had been followed by gardai.

There were two false discs on the windscreen and Ngomo said he had recently purchased the car.

The court heard he had previous conviction­s including one for driving without insurance.

Acting for Ngomo solicitor Mr Murphy said that Ngomo had only purchased the car that weekend from a friend. He said his client was in a relationsh­ip with one child and another one on the way.

Judge Gerard Haughton fined him €300 and put him off the road for two years for driving without insurance; €100 on each of the counts of using a false instrument and marked the other matters proven and taken into considerat­ion.

The court heard gardai had received a number of complaints from residents about people racing on motorbikes in the estate. On arrival they met Lawless who admitted he had no insurance or driving licence. He has no previous conviction­s. Judge Gerard Haughton fined him €2,000 and put him off the road for two years for driving without insurance, €300 for driving without a driving licence, €200 for failing to produce insurance and €300 for failing to produce a driving licence.
