Mass times as follows: Tuesday 7.30 p.m. Thursday 9.30 a.m. Saturday 9.30 a.m. and 8.15 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. Vigil Mass at 8.15 p.m. Mass at 10 a.m.

Ash Wednesday, March 1: Blessed Ashes will be distribute­d at 8 a.m., 11.30 a.m. and after 7.30 p.m. Mass. The sick will be visited with Blessed Ashes on Wednesday afternoon

We will have our last night of recording distances on Tuesday, February 21, and have a final night of getting your results on Tuesday, February 28.

GAA NOTES

The championsh­ip draws took place last Saturday. In intermedia­te hurling we are in a group with Adamstown, Cushinstow­n, Shamrocks, Monageer and Blackwater. We will play Blackwater in the first round. In intermedia­te A football we are in a group with Kilanerin, St Pat’s, Shamrocks, Kilmore and volunteers, with the first game against the Shamrocks.

Adult Membership fees for 2017: €120 for players, €60 for students and €50 for non-playing members, due now.

Penny bank collection­s continue every Saturday and Sunday in the hall after masses.

BINGO

Bingo is on every Monday night in the Anvil Ballymurn at 9 p.m.

10K/ 5K TIMED RUN/WALK

The camogie and Hurling Club will host a 10k and 5k timed run/ walk on Sunday, March 5, at 10.30 a.m. starting from Oylegate Pitch. Registrati­on for the 10k can be found on runireland. com. Registrati­on for the 5k will be taken on the day. You can also register for the 10k on the day. Families and serious runners are all welcome.

CAMOGIE CLUB NEWS

The camogie club will host a breakfast day on Saturday, March 18, in the Community Centre in Oylegate to raise money for Féile.

There is a club registrati­on night on Friday, February 24, from 7 p.m. to 8.15 p.m. in the Community Centre in Oylegate. Could all players please come along that night to pay part/all of your membership fee for 2017. Fees the same as last year. Contact the committee with any queries please.

VINTAGE NEWS

The next Over the Water Vintage run will take place on Sunday, April 9, starting in Ballymurn at 12.30 p.m.; proceeds in aid of Ballymurn Hall.
