ENVIRONMENT GROUP

Rosslare Harbour/Kilrane Environment Group lost one of its most loyal supporter and volunteer in the past week with the sad passing of Peter McCormack. Peter has worked tirelessly with the group for the last 10+ years developing the section of the Village Park known to all as ‘Peter’s Garden’.

In recent months he was busy putting together a ‘Fairy Village’, which he intended to put out in the park. When not working in his ‘Garden’ he would be out trying to keep the roads of the area litter-free or tending the shrub and flower opposite St Patrick’s Church. On behalf of all within the group we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
