CHURCH NOTES

Mass times as follows: Tuesday 7.30 p.m. Thursday 9.30 a.m. Saturday 9.30 a.m. and 8.15 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. Vigil Mass at 8.15 p.m. Mass at 10 a.m.

Ash Wednesday, March 1: Blessed Ashes will be distribute­d at 8 a.m., 11.30 a.m. and after 7.30 p.m. Mass. The sick will be visited with Blessed Ashes on Wednesday afternoon.

GAA NOTES

Our Intermedia­te footballer­s will play the first round of the league at home to Kilmore on Saturday, March 4, at 3.30 p.m.

Thanks to those who helped organise a very successful afternoon tea on Saturday last and thank you to everyone who supported the event.

Adult membership fees for 2017: €120 for players, €60 for students and €50 for non-playing members, due now.

Penny bank collection­s every Saturday and Sunday in the hall after Masses.

BINGO

Bingo is played every Monday night in The Anvil, Ballymurn, at 9 p.m.

CAMOGIE FUNDRAISER­S

The camogie club will hold some Féile Fundraiser­s over the coming weeks. Anyone, who would like to donate clothes in Oylegate can drop them into Eamon Mernagh any time. All donations greatly appreciate­d. Contact Christine 086 8929087 for more info.

We will host a 10k and 5k timed run/walk on Sunday, March 5, at 10.30 a.m. starting from Oylegate Pitch. Registrati­on for the 10k can be found on runireland.com. Registrati­on for the 5k will be taken on the day. You can also register for the 10k on the day. Families and serious runners are all welcome.

We will also host a breakfast day on Saturday, March 18, in the Community Centre in Oylegate to raise money for Féile.

VINTAGE NEWS

The next Over the Water Vintage run will take place on Sunday, April 9, starting in Ballymurn at 12 30 in aid of Ballymurn Hall.

GOLF CLASSIC
